Koolpte Vega Plus is an 80mm / 600mm refractor telescope for families, teens, adult beginners, and curious observers ready for a brighter step up from a typical 70mm starter scope. It pairs Fully Multi-Coated optics with micro-adjust controls and a complete photography-ready accessory set.

80mm Aperture for Brighter Views

An 80mm objective lens collects about 31% more light than a 70mm objective lens. That extra light supports brighter lunar views, clearer contrast on larger Moon features, and more satisfying views of bright planets and star clusters. Combined with its 600mm focal length, Vega Plus is well suited to backyard astronomy, family observation nights, and daytime long-distance viewing.

FMC Optics and Flexible Magnification

Fully Multi-Coated optics help reduce reflections and support clearer, higher-contrast viewing. The included 25mm and 10mm eyepieces provide 24× and 60× magnification. Add the 3× Barlow lens to expand your viewing options to 72× and 180× when conditions support higher power.

For the clearest experience, begin with the lower-power eyepiece, center your target, focus carefully, and increase magnification only after the image is stable.

Micro-Adjust Knobs for More Careful Pointing

Vega Plus includes micro-adjust knobs that help you make smaller directional corrections while tracking the Moon, a bright planet, or a distant daytime subject. This makes it easier to fine-tune your view once the target is centered.

Astro-Photo Kit Included

The included Astro-Photo Kit combines a phone mount and Bluetooth remote for simple eyepiece photography. Secure a compatible smartphone, focus on your target, and use the remote to capture photos without touching the phone screen.

    Good beginner telescope

    Setting up the telescope can be a hassle at first, but if you have an area to leave it in place, it won t take long The calibrating min-scope is fragile and one of the tightening screws on ours broke off before we were able to set it up As a result, we can t correctly calibrate the telescope, but using it during the day is not as bad The viewfinder for the 25mm lens a bit on the smaller side, so sometimes you can see reflections of your eye or eyelashes, but if you focus on what you are trying to see it s not as distracting Overall pretty good quality lenses and we ve been able to see the moon a few times with pretty good quality

Yes. KOOLPTE telescopes are designed for beginners and are suitable for both adults and younger astronomy enthusiasts. We recommend that children use the telescope with adult supervision during setup and observation.

Depending on the telescope model and viewing conditions, you may observe lunar craters, bright planets, star clusters, and distant terrestrial objects. For the best first-time experience, start with the Moon using the lowest-power eyepiece.

Make sure the lens cap has been removed, then slowly adjust the focus knob until the image becomes clear. Start with the lowest-power eyepiece, as excessive magnification, poor weather, window glass, or atmospheric turbulence can make the image appear blurry.

Currently, KOOLPTE products are available for delivery within the United States only. Orders normally require 1-3 business days for processing and are generally delivered within 2-7 business days after shipment. Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

KOOLPTE telescopes come with a 1-year warranty. You may also return an eligible product within 30 days of delivery, provided it is unused and remains in its original resalable condition. Refunds are issued after the returned item has been received and inspected; original shipping fees are non-refundable.
